Privacy policy
Last updated: July 2026 · Applies to serpgidi.com and the SERPGidi waitlist
This policy explains what personal data SERPGidi collects when you use this website or join the waitlist, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it. It is written to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
SERPGidi is a pre-launch search intelligence platform. For anything in this policy, contact us at hello@serpgidi.com. We respond to privacy requests within one calendar month.
What we collect and why
We collect personal data in two places: the waitlist form and the contact form. The data and the purpose for each item are set out below.
Waitlist form
Full name. Used to address you properly in early access communication.
Email address. Used to confirm your place on the waitlist and to contact you when your early access slot opens.
Phone number (optional). Used only if email contact fails ahead of your early access slot. You can leave this blank.
Your role. Used to shape early access waves so the product reaches the right mix of practitioners first.
Contact form
Name, email address and your message. Used only to read your enquiry and reply to it.
We do not collect anything else. The interactive demo on the homepage runs entirely in your browser. Keywords you type into it are not sent to us or stored by us.
Lawful basis
We process your waitlist details on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box when you join. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@serpgidi.com, and we will delete your details.
We process contact form messages on the basis of our legitimate interest in reading and replying to enquiries sent to us. If you would rather not use the form, you can email us directly instead.
How long we keep your data
We keep waitlist details until SERPGidi launches and early access invitations are complete, and no longer than twelve months after launch. If you withdraw consent before then, we delete your details within one calendar month of your request.
Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve your enquiry, and no longer than twelve months, after which they are deleted.
Who processes your data
Your form submission is delivered to us by FormSubmit, a form-forwarding service, and received into an email inbox hosted by our hosting provider. Both act as processors handling your data only to deliver it to us. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data with anyone, for any reason.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. The site uses your browser's local storage for one purpose only: remembering that you have already joined the waitlist so the form does not reappear. That is strictly necessary functionality and involves no tracking, no identifiers and no third parties.
How we protect your data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Waitlist details are held in access-controlled email and are not shared beyond the people running SERPGidi. When the platform itself launches, it will operate under its own fuller privacy policy covering account and usage data, with UK GDPR compliance designed in from the start.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct it if it is wrong
- Have it deleted
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Receive it in a portable format
- Withdraw your consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@serpgidi.com. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
The waitlist and the SERPGidi platform are for working professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has joined the waitlist, contact us and we will delete the record.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes before launch, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use waitlist data, we will email everyone on the list before it takes effect.
